I am a penniless, brain-damaged cripple who smokes & eats meat. I have no charm and am less than tidy. I can be uncomfortable company: I have disturbing ideas which I insist on sharing, and I'm filled to overflowing with Existential Dread. Which I tend to spill on people.
Cassandra is never popular, nor any Bearer of Bad Tidings . . .
I'm a Music Bore, a Vitamin Bore, a Conspiracy Theory Bore, and a Quantum Consciousness Bore.
However, I am reliable, honest, and decent. In fact I'm a Towering Pillar Of Moral Strength.
As well as being Fisher King in my spare time (all of it).
I was a Musician once (before the ABI): in a band called "Accelerated Men". (Go on, Google it!)
We made a record called "Dead Names". I have *a few* copies left, on *historically significant* warped vinyl, if anyone's interested . . .
Apparently we are the First Band Listed in Mick Mercer's Black Book Of Gothic Rock.
Nowadays all the bands I'm involved with are Entirely Imaginary. 'Cos you just can't get the help these days, especially with Guitarists. The thing being, you know whether you can Play an instrument or not . . . but everyone thinks they can Sing. Especially Guitar Players.
